Hi all,
My clutch all of a sudden stopped engaging and couldn't put into gear after not being dríven for 10 days.
After reading a number of posts, it was most likely either the slave or master cylinder.
To cover all bases I replace both the slave and master cylinders.
Still didn't fix the issue.
It looks like the fork that pushes the piston of the slave is already depressed.
Any ideas what may be the issue?

Re: MX5 na clutch not engaging
Probably clutch thrust bearing if clutch master cylinder & slave cylinder are working as they should & you haqven't done any other recent work that might have had an effect. If so, time for clutch pressure plate, clutch plate, thrust bearing, pilot bearing, rear main seal, & clutch alignment tool. Thrust bearing on my NA8 went a few years ago.
