Hello
I have fitted a MiataRoadster shifter tip bush to my SE, the difference in the gear change is remarkable, no more lost gears or fumbled changes. Throw the factory bush in the bin, this is an inverted top hat that fits into the selectors. The best $30 I have spent. This what Mazda should have done. Their Pt No MR-SS-13,easily found on the MiataRoadster web site. Changed the gear oil to Redline MT 90,filled via the turret. Hardest part of the whole job was removing the under trays
Cheers
Steven

I had one of those and at first thought they were good too but I got more vibration up the stalk  plus I liked resting my hand on the gear- a - knob. that move gave me vibes like I was on a 500 cc single motorbike

so I went back to a new factory top hat and after that all good. but what works for one may not work for all so one must try all avenues

A friend had a BMW and a knob that glowed in the dark
