Hey guys, I'm planning to do my shifter rebuild soon (upper/lower shift boots and nylon cup).
I was just wondering how much of the nulon g70 - manual gearbox and differential treatment - I would need to add with my shifter oil. Couldn't find answers anywhere.
Thanks!

I wouldn't bother. Keep the G70 for the gearbox itself, the shifter oil will have little effect on shift quality.
I'd recommend changing all the bushes though, not just the nylon cup. Changing the large circular bushes, wave washers and half-moon bush will make a noticeable difference.

^+1 - not that it matters in terms of Nulon G70, but is it a 5 speed or 6 speed GB? 5 speed shifter turret oil is isolated from main body of GB, but 6 speed isn't.

Good point made by Clubman. I actually have a plastic lower ring bush thingy for the NB8B hanging around, never got round to using it. Part number R50317492.
You're welcome to it if you'd like.

93 is right It is essential to have an Owners manual for the car which has the capacities and service info.
