I have had this problem for a few weeks and finally nailed it.

Google was of no help what so ever.

Things I tried.

First which cylinder was not working. Started engine, took each lead off the spark plug, number 1, 2 and 3 all caused the engine to falter more, then number 4 had no effect on engine. Changed the plugs, coil, leads no difference. Shorted the plugs on the rocker cover, all fired fine but I did notice number 4 plug was covered in unburned fuel. Did a compression test which was fine. Finally changed the injector and all was fine.

Textbook diagnosis. Mind you, if the injector check didn't work you would have got to looking for a dead mouse in the inlet tube.

No mouse just clogged or dead injector.

When replaced all worked fine.
