I took the head off patchy to get some more compression.
My pistons protrude the deck ever so slightly. Is that normal for a OEM set up? on a OEM i would have expected it to be just a fraction below the deck.
Before I pull the trigger on the Head gasket I want to make sure the pistons will clear the head. Standard thickness of the head gasket is 1.3mm I was thinking of going to 0.8 or even 0.7mm thickness
Yes I realize I will now have to measure it but if this is non standard I may or may not have high compression pistons.
Pistons themselves don't have any markings on it to say they are some brand of any sort. at least not that Ive noticed.
