I have a 1990 NA, what are some good exhaust systems that aren't too pricey?
In store or online, I live in SA if that helps! :-)

Re: Exhaust systems
Can't recall his name (about 3 years ago now) but the bloke at Carline Aldinga (211 Aldinga Beach Road) did a great job on my old NA6. Full system including supply & fit Hurricane Headers, high flow cat, Walker muffler plus all the piping. He took the time to ensure that I was really happy with the end result. Sounded great with a sporty but subtle note. Driveability improvement after the old exhaust was quite evident. He was very patient with me, even when I returned a couple of times - once regarding a rattle that didn't even end up being anything to do with the exhaust! and once to fit a resonator to quiet a rasp sound at certain revs that I didn't like (which he did for the cost of the part only!).

Re: Exhaust systems
Find good local exhaust shop.
Talk to them.
Exchange money for goods and services.
Can't help you on the local front but KevGoat sounds like he's had a good experience.

Re: Exhaust systems
Gary Stewart / CES Racing exhausts in SE QLD & Town & Country exhausts in Geelong (Vic) are well regarded, but might be more than you were thinking of spending.

Re: Exhaust systems
CES has apparently lost alot of the guys who used to make the awesome CES products.
I'd honestly go to rob bliss, I'm currently in the process of having an exhaust made by 2XS Racing, yet to have any experience with it so can't comment re quality/sound etc. But plenty of others have had exhausts made by rob bliss with great results.

Re: Exhaust systems
From memory think Rob Bliss was involved in devel/ production of some of the Gary Stewart exhaust system components so he would definitely be another option.

Re: Exhaust systems
I was talking to Trevor at CES a couple of weeks ago. Trevor was CES back when they were in Jimboomba, churning out NA MX5 systems with Loch and is still running CES. In fact, I dropped in a system (headers to tailpipe) that had done 210Kkms for him to refurbish.
