Valve cover breather help needed

Hey guys on the NB 1.8 valve cover the breather pipe near the oil cap is it just a press fit?
Can it just be pulled out ?
Or does the valve cover have to be removed to tap it out ?

PCV is press in, the rubber grommet stays in the cover.
Breather on passenger side has a welded in barbed fitting, the hose just presses on.

Yeah the breather on the passenger side steel one that the rubber hose goes onto.
So set of mto grips pliers you can't just pull it out ?

Pretty sure it's either welded or interference fit.
Either way, not likely to come out without destroying it.
if It were me i'd just cut it off flush and then plug the hole or hammer in a new fitting if needed.
