Hey guys!

ive been having a problem the past couple days with my clutch. the friction point keeps changing when the clutch is held down for an extended period. usually it feels like it sits a couple cm's from the top then drops to like an inch from the bottom.

this problem has happened before and i have already changed the slave cylinder, the master cylinder, the clutch itself and ive installed braided lines as well. it fixed the problem for about a month then all of a sudden it came back after giving her a bit of a go. i have also noticed the liquid in the master has become very dirty.

if you guys have any idea what the problem would be please any help would be appreciated

Sounds like you did virtually the whole clutch system. What you did not say is whether you did the job yourself. If it was done by a pro business then you should take it back and have them diagnose it. It sounds to me as an amateur- is that there is contamination in the fluid possibly from some connection point and it may be leaking air. Bleeding ie changing the clutch fluid is prob necessary but the root cause?

nope did not do the job myself as dont trust myself enough to do any work on my car hehe all done by my mechanic. but thanks man she'll be going in for a service on monday so hopefully they might be able to resolve the problem.

you have air getting into the system.

yep, sounds to me like air getting in.

Either a stuffed master or slave, or a line has a split/hole somewhere.

Or it was bled badly and there's been air in there since the other stuff was replaced.
