10-40 is the normal oil for NA/NB, but they can take a decent range of viscosities(sp?) (the manual lists them)
As for the Royal Purple vs Penrite. Penrite is good stuff, also locally owned (and made to my knowledge) so supports Aussie jobs etc.
Ignoring all that, as far as i'm concerned there's no point in spending stupid amounts on oil as long as you change it often. 5,000km is often.
I'd just go the Penrite, save the $20 and buy a 6 pack.
Bear in mind though you'll now have another 100 responses telling you to use every brand of oil under the sun, and why.
as long as it's a decent trusted brand, you'll be fine to use either (it's not like it's "black and gold" brand unknown gunk)
