Afternoon all!
So gave my car some tlc today and noticed the cable is starting fray so to play it safe I want to replace it
Had a search and couldn't find much past info on it.

Has anyone done it? Pain in th ass job?
Where did you get the cable from?
What tools needed?

Is it a 6 pack of beer job?

Cheers!
Chris

I did this on my NA and it was pretty easy. Mistake I made was not taking notice where the cable threaded through the back of the dash so had a few attempts before it reached far enough to plug in. Apart from that, simple.

IIRC there's a Youtube video of how to do it.

Different cables, throttle cable is relatively simple, just a matter of unclipping each end, then feeding it through the firewall.
Hard part is getting the clip bit in the firewall unclipped.

So with a mate it was a quick/fairly easy job with a few beers!
However I was sold a cable that seems and inch too long.

How?!?!
No idea. Even with maximum adjustment it was still too loose
