heat wrapping,

hey guys, got a set of stainless steel extractors and im looking to heat wrap them, any do's and don'ts i should know about before hand? :)

why cover stainless? It looks awesome

Get them ceramic coated....better option

You can get shiny silver ceramic coating looks just like chrome

I just spoke to the bloke near me who does the ceramic coating and he quoted $240 for coating inside and out.
This will protect the inside of the pipes, if you heat wrap them it will lower the engine bay temp. but will make the inside of the extractors hotter , destroying the metal quicker.
