Timing Mark/Crank Pulley

Hi all, just need a few things clarified for my headspace.

Put in a new water pump, timing belt, tensioner/idle pulleys and seals yesterday and now I have a feeling my crankshaft pulley (the one which holds the drive belts, not the timing cog) has 'slipped'. I've found one or two instances of it happening around the place.

stole this from miata.net - my pulley timing notch is like the 'old' one, just not as severe. Mine is around the 11:30 mark

My logic for saying this as the timing marks on the cams and crank were all triple checked and aligned - perfectly. The timing mark on the crank pulley however wouldn't line up to the TDC mark when I knew the engine was at TDC.

Is there a flaw in my logic or am I correct at stating my pulley is shat itself/slipped? I do believe it happened before I did the replacement work as I couldn't get an accurate reading with my timing light beforehand.

Have started up the car and have had it running at idle for around 10 minutes with no issues. Temp was fine, oil pressure fine and RPM is fine and the front pulleys and drive belts aren't flailing about. Would like to double check the timing with my light before going for a drive though as I prefer not to have a grenade on wheels. Will this be as simple as lining up the engine manually back to TDC then marking a new line on the current pulley to let me check now or will I have to wait until I get a new pulley?

i would say yes

though if have phased the engine correctly on TDC with 0 degree mark when installing the timing belt this timing mark of the belt pulley should not need to be referenced right

just make sure the refraction plate that the crank angle sensor reads of is correct, though if its running fine i'd say you're laughing mate

they are not timing marks. the timing mark is on the timing belt pully for the valvetrain system. the crankshaft drive wheel has nothing to do with the engine timing.
