Which oil for my Cusco LSD?

Just purchased a used NB diff with a Cusco LSd installed. What's the recommended diff oil by you people out there?
Apparently the previous owner said it was a litle "chatty" in a car park situation.
I was going to use Royal Purple 75w-90?
Opinions?
Thanks.

I'd be surprised if there isn't a specific oil for the Cusco. Generally the best idea is to use the manufacturers oil with clutch diffs as the amount of friction modifier required to make them work properly is critical. Too much and they will slip excessively, not enough and they will lock too hard. This is certainly the case with the Kaaz. I have run Kaaz and other oils. The Kaaz oil was the best for it, but Penrite Lipslip 90 was also good... Though it did induce more slip.

Clutch diffs are clunky at low speeds - get used to it :)

Just seeing what's out there.
The Cusco 80w/90 seems the go.
Has anyone had any experience with Motul 90PA or the Penrite Lipslip range? It seems that is another recommendation.

Penrite Limslip is great, but has been superseded by their 80w90 and 140w gear oils.

However, like I said, it may have too much (or not enough) friction modifier for the cusco. It has too much for the Kaaz but if you set the diff up for it, it's fine.

Ohhh there is a way to make it less chatty! Maybe less aggressive?

I wish there was a oil I could use to make my diff back to stock open....

If you want to smooth out a Kaaz, put Penrite 80w90 gear oil in it. It will smooth out, but at the cost of increased slip.
