Hey all,
I recently purchased a full set of coolant hoses for my early NA8. So far I have replace the two lower, one upper radiator hoses and the two heater core hoses. Remaining is the four smaller coolant hoses, ie the thermostat bypass hose and the like.
I am not planning on trying to re-use the existing spring hose clamps and was wondering what you would recommend as the replacement clamps?
Thanks.
J.

Little worm drive clamps from any autostore.
However I prefer the clamps without ridges, they have a small bolt to pull the two halves together, instead of perforated metal band with a screw pulling it smaller.
(I'll link pics when I get home)
Reason being the normal worm drive clamps can cut into hoses because they grip and are like little knives when they catch / are done up too tight.

Re: Best hose clamps for small coolant hoses
the best option would be new OEM spring style hose clamps. bolt/screw clamps are easy to over/under tighten. the spring clamps will give you the correct amount of tension regardless of how strong you are + if there is any thermal size variance on a piece you are attaching to the spring clamps will loosen or tighten to accommodate. the screw styles are 100% fixed

Thanks for the responses.
Yes, buying the worm screw clamps is the easiest way to go, however I have previously managed to over tighten them and cut into the hoses.
I managed to re-use the larger OEM spring clamps on the radiator and heater hoses, but those little spring clamps that are on the bypass hoses are a real sh1t to get off, and almost impossible to reuse. Shame the breeze constant torque clamps that I used on my previous 5 (and used on the SP) are not availale in the tiny sizes.
