Installing an SE Torsen diff into SP

Hey guys,

Just a few quick questions.

I'm looking at picking up an SE torsen diff and housing for my SP, I just wanted to know if others have done this install (even on a standard NB8B) and if they could offer any info on what's involved.

Doing some research on here, it seems that the SE's torsen and the SP's open diff are the same ratio at 3.63, can anyone confirm this?

After doing some more reading here, it seems that the SE and SP axles are a different spline count. 28 splines on the SE's axles and 26 on the SP and standard NB8B, can anyone confirm this?

If this is the case, is there any way to use my standard SP axles for the install, or would I need to source SE axles and swap them over before i could install the diff/housing?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Cheers
Ryan

Grab the axles as well.

Aussie SEs had the same ratio as your SP

You WILL need to use the SE axles
When you (eventually) remove the axles from the uprights/hubs you also need to discard the dust seals (not used on the SE)
