ID 1000s needing modification

If my installer ordered the correct ID 1000 injectors should they need modification before fitting correctly in an SE?

Thanks. Still wondering why my ECU guy took a few minutes to explain what he needed/wanted to do, then told me it was only minor, but lost me after the first 30 seconds.

He failed to order the correct ID1000s. When I told him about the comments here he spoke to his supplier and ordered the correct ones. Just another week wasted without my car!
