Question on tail shaft lenghts

Hi.
Will a 6 speed tailshaft fit into a 5 speed gearbox and is there any difference in the tailshaft length please.

The only difference between tailshaft lengths was between 1.6 and 1.8.


NA8 - BP4W IHI VJ35, 3.9 Torsen2, Adaptronic - SOLD
NB8A - mostly stock for now
