1.8ltr NA 100k service, anything else at the same time?

Hi,
I am due for my 200,000km service on my NA.
I've got everything organised for it including water pump, belts, tensioners, fuel filter, etc.
But from my previous knowledge on EVO's we recommend doing things like cams at the same time.
I will be changing my rocker cover gasket with the timing belt, but was wondering if there is anything else beneficial to do at the same time.
Should I look at cams? Worthwhile or not? Cam gears maybe?
I'm not full bottle on these engines, so would like to do things whilst it might be worthwhile.
Or even if someone has suggestions on brands with these parts.

I've not heard of any MX5s having abnormal cam lobe wear outside of another larger issue (oil pump broken or something)
the B series engines aren't particularly high stressed, they can last forever with just the basics.
My partner's B6 is somewhere north of 400,000km without a problem, just regular oil changes and maintenance.
If you're taking the rocker cover off then just look at the cams for wear, it's unlikely they'll have much though.

Cam seals, CAS O-ring seal, Coolent hoses/ heater hoses if they are starting to look crusty.
motor oil flush if your HLA have started ticking or even if they haven't this is good preventative.

What about performance wise?

Nothing this side of a turbo is very cost effective.
If you had the head off I would say shave it and insert cams FOT SURE. But on a belt change, just the basic maintenance.

AH, you meant should you put in performance parts, rather than is anything broken.
To be honest, with an MX5 there's not a great deal of extra effort to change the cams on their own.
No point rushing to put cams in while you do the timing belt, it's simple to do them afterwards anyway.

Sweet, that's all I wanted to know.
With the EVO I know it's worthwhile having it done when doing the belt. So wanted to check with the MX before I went ahead with it.
Yes, I'm lucky enough to have 2 of my cars due for timing belts at the same time.

the right approach arguably is to replace the items that are recommended and that does not include just replacing hoses or items that are still ok- ask Mazda what they recommend and you will find its not a long list. The B6 as HKS points out is a reliable unit and if you are planning on keeping it then don't thrash it and don't make mods to increase engine output i.e. not extra stress. One thing I think is worth looking at is putting in a good timing belt and water pump not the cheapest.

I work at a performance mechanical workshop, so I know all that is generally involved in the 100k service.
I was more chasing benefits in performance.
Yes, I'm looking at keeping the car for a long time, but I'm not afraid of pushing it at the track, so I want response.
