Cooling Pro Radiator?

Hi all,

My current OE radiator is leaking and the most readily available 'upgrade' seems to be the 42mm Cooling Pro radiator (eg: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Cooling-Pro- ... 221&_uhb=1 )

I have 1998 NB with AC and an JRSC (M45 with the cross-over tube) - would this radiator have enough space to fit?

I have searched and have found numerous answers, some saying it's easy to install, others saying it was a pain in the ass, I am hoping someone here may have a similar setup who could provide me with some certainty !

Thanks!

i have a nb8a with aircon (not working) and a rotrex supercharger.

its not that hard to install.

though getting the thick fan back on can be a pain with piping and if you have a thicker front sway bar like i do.

Thanks dude. Are there any other catches when installing? The next chance I'll get is probably on the weekend and I don't want to get caught out if there's anything else I need to have, ie. some people say that the bolts that hold the OE radiator are not long enough for the Cooling Pro radiator? Then again, only some people said this..

I also fitted one to my NB8A 4 years (and 40 track days) ago.

Bolted straight in. No fitment or bolt length issues.

Thanks guys, I think I'll just go ahead and order one and will see how things go from there!

the only thing i found was the coolant change bolt was of poor quality and i snapped the wing bits on it so be careful with that.

other then that it fit pretty well.

Hi all,

Just letting you know that I fitted the 42mm Cooling Pro radiator to my MX5 tonight. It was very easy to install and everything fitted as expected :)
