CEL Light Caused by P0507 (Idle higher than expected) in NC

Hi,
I have a 2005 NC LE Non Turbo and for about 24 hours had a CEL that when the mechanic hooked up the computer was caused by Error Code P0507 - Idle Control System RPM Higher Than Expected.

I have not had the CEL light before but when I first purchased the car a year or so ago it did feel like occasionally the idle was high as if the choke was on even though it was up to temp but this was fixed with a good throttle body clean during the next service.

Soooo, other then another throttle body clean is there anything else I should be looking for? IS there a way to reset the ECU so it relearns the idle settings?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,
Craig

You reset the ECU for all codes by:
* disconnecting one cable from the battery,
* turning the ignition ON,
* push down on the brake pedal for around 30 second to drain power from the ECU memory,
* reconnect the battery cable.

All then should be good to go.
