I have run out of options on how to get the wood ruff key out and the crankshaft gear, i have soaked it with WD40 for over the past 4 hours and slowly prying the gear and wiggling the woodruff, but nothing has budged. I have given up for the night and now looking for advise on how to get the darn thing off.

Go buy a gear puller from gasweld for 20 dollars and it will come right off.

get one of these types with 2 arms.

Thought i'd post back incase anyone was having the same issue as i was. Turns out the previous person went crazy with some kind of super duper strength loctite which froze everything in place. When i took out the timing gear the woodruff key was still stuck in it, i actually had to hammer it out. So let this be a lesson to anyone thinking of using super strength loctite, DON'T! I had to spend almost my whole day customizing the 2 jaw puller because it was to large, keep in mind this would be quicker with proper tools but i only had a crappy chinese dremel.
