Hi, to which model MX5 are you referring, out of curiosity? What brand of header are you contemplating?

cheers

didn't know there was a LHD or RHD exhaust. people buying exhausts/headers from LHD markets dont seems to have fitting issues in RHD cars.

its probably easier getting a LHD exhaust system into our RHD as they have the brake booster to route around. my cobalt catback had a 02 fitting after the cat which needed to be plugged up. Anyone know what that's originally for?

As NA6 headers are on the right hand side if you are facing the engine, then the steering shaft and brake booster are on the opposite side, so you should have no issue.

Racing Beat headers have a dent purposefully placed on the 3rd/4th runners to help with clearance issue for the steering column.

Freight might be pricey enough to outweigh any cost benefits you might be chasing in purchasing from the US.
And if you have a warranty issue, you'll have to send back at your cost.
