It sounds more like a Balance problem but you probably need to try and get a better idea of where it is coming from...... could be tailshaft, diff, driveshafts, wheel bearings, brakes, diff mounts, gearbox mounts, shocks or springs or a bubble/bulge in your tyre.

As flycasta said, it could be lots of things, first things first get to a tyre shop or at least take the rear wheels in for a balance. Start with the smallest possible problem first.

As a recent converter from vicious to Torsen.... It's always Torsen time! They're so nice :D
I knew mine was due for replacement when it was making gunshot type noises that had no dicernable rhythm, and it would hop and clunk in a gutwrenching Fashion.

Hope it's an easy fix for you.

Sounds like diff to me and you need to clean the car.

Me thinks all those hard launchs/burnouts on Rspecs at various hillclimbs have finally caught up with the 23 year old vlsd!!!!

Haha

Yes does need a clean lol. Wheels nuts are to torque first thing I checked cause I was worried about my brand new wheels. Also tyres and wheels are new so we're just balanced so I doubt that is it but no ruling It out yet. Diff points are brand new and engine mounts are not old either. Bearings I don't think have ever been changed.... see what happens when I jack it up tonight

Pm Flycasta who was the first response.

Have you sorted the problem yet? Sounds like a universal .
