hey guys, i am trying to adjust the timing on my mx5 1999 1.8L but i'm having a problem because i can't find the crank angle sensor, which apparently is behind a crank pulley according to the information that i have read. It is currently at 14 degrees, and i am trying to adjust it to 10, any tips/help?

I'm pretty sure the NB timing is controlled via the ECU and not a physical linkage like the NA.
(I just remember that the NA timing bump doesn't do anything for the NB, and seem to recall it being that the NB will simply adjust it back via the ECU)

Hi,
Check the tech threads, there is a manual on line that I feel sure will answer your questions.
Greg.
