Melbourne diff shops

Postby Mr nanotech » Mon Jul 30, 2012 9:49 am

I've recently acquired an nb8a case with 4.1 ratio and torsen t2 lsd insert. I'm not completely confident in doing the swap myself since I'm unsure about setting backlash etc...
Does anyone know a good diff specialist in Melbourne or anyone at all who can do this for a good price? Just to clarify, the diff is out of the car and it's just a quote for having the centre swapped over.

I did some quotes myself and came to an average of $350 for just the centre swapped over :O To me that sounds like a freakin rip and 3/4 the price of the lsd itself!!!
A mate said he knew a guy on this forum who quoted $150 at a place in melb for the job done but I forget the user name.

If a forum member has experience doing this, can pay in beer as well ;)

Possibly flycasta (Duane) over at Lilydale - he's mentioned a diff shop in Bayswater a number of times: memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2315
