Are you asking if the Carbing one is better than the rest or if it actually serves a purpose?
For the latter; yes it definitely has a purpose, as it ensures as much air gets through the radiator and not escape, hence reducing the chance of overheating.

For the former; If you're happy to pay the premium just to say that you have a Carbing radiator air-redirection plate, then go for it. I doubt it is more effective than a no name one from fleabay, or an OEM one, it's just covering holes after all.

The plates are actually extremely useful to rest tools/bolts/nuts on when working under the bonnet.

The stock one they often fall through the little gaps and land in god knows where.

Duct tape works for this too. Especially double-sided duct tape if you could find some :mrgreen:
