Just replaced lifters in my NA6

Postby toppertee » Sun May 06, 2012 8:11 pm

Hi all,
Just replaced my lifters in my car, starting to tick a lot. My poor old car gets a bloody hard time. When I rebuilt my motor, I didn't replace my lifters, so 6 months later in with new lifters.
Any way long story short, I purchase the lifters of this ebay store.

Turned up 5 days later. I'm having a guess they are KIA lifters. But point is I installed new HKS cams at the same time. Started it up, little bit of rattle to start with. Drove the car out dropped the clutch, revved the nuts of it around the back area where, I live. The Neighbours just love me.

All good in the hood. Oil change today and a nice drive up the freeway cool and the gang. So if you’re looking at new lifters, these seem to do the trick.
Cheers.

Nup.

Lifters cost around $120 delivered and just my time to change them.
Additives are around $20. I change my oil every 1000km. So I didn't worry about it.
Mines a track only car pretty much. Just something thats left in the shed and played with.
Little bit different than a daily.

I just though they where a good price and see how they go and if people wanted a good supply at a cheap price.
Cheers
