Exhaust option Gippsland

Hi,
Not a new member but first post as I never really had anything to say.
I own a 93 clubman (ex 93_Clubman) and when it came time for a better
exhaust (quiet cars have no character IMO) I wasn't prepared to pay a
premium for stainless (not a Magpie, don't care for shiny things) and no
offence to T&C, but too far away so I went to an exhaust shop in Leongatha
& asked for a 2.25" cat back system with a resonator at the front & a free
flowing rear box which he did while I hung around in approx 2 hours. The
workmanship was good and cost very reasonable. It dosn't vibrate, rattle or
drone at all but has a nice deep growl which can't be heard at open road
speeds with the windows up (hardtop fitted). Hope this is of help to someone.

Cheers Steve.

AHHHH, I think the resonators about 350-400mm and mufflers a copy of something,
maybe a Turboflow, He said it's pretty much straight through with just a baffle plate.
He did have a brand name of his supplier on his entrance but my crap memory lost it.
It seems to have improved torque a bit and revs alot easier to the redline.

Steve, good to hear from you - saw the Clubman parked at the last RACV Great Australian Rally at Mornington Racecourse last January. Will be there this year (15 Jan), so might see you around.

Love old English cars, wouldn't miss it.
I'll keep an eye out.
