Hey all
I’ve been waiting for a while to do this, mainly to sort out what i want and also to find a place i want to do it.
The build will be on a B6 engine i have spare for my NA6 so i won’t need the car at the workshop through the build till the end. I would like to ask about decent workshops in victoria that would be more then capable to build a full aftermarket management, quad throttle, high revving, high compression n/a b6 motor, as well as tune it. I don’t want to turbo charge it as i like the drivability and response from a n/a motor. I had a ke70 with quads and want to try and achieve the same with my mx5.
I have read a bit about the 1.7 build they have done with the Maruhamotors kit in Japan/Usa sounds tempting.
I don’t really want to change the B6 to the BP as I like the base of the B6 and feel it holds more potential for what I want
Any information phone numbers experience with workshops preferably around the Gippsland area would be great but also interested in melb.

Cheers Chris

Can't help with Gippsland area, but Tony @ Fultech, 10 Johnston St Burwood, 9888 7499 (if available), Dean @ Motorsport Essentials, 29E Glenvale Cres, Mulgrave 9562 1005; or Gerald & Chaz @ Mammi Motors, 10 Industrial Drv, Somerville, 5977 7973, are all worth talking to.

Probably handiest, & certainly very capable, would be these guys at Dandenong:

My understanding is d-mag on here, who used to own a heavily modified MX5 & often frequented this & other MX5 forums, is connected to RoadTrackRally. So, I wouldn't hesitate taking my MX5 to them.
