Hi
I made a silly misstake when I replace my cam cover gasket this morning.
when I got everthing back to its position, then start torgue the bolts and secure the cam cover.
But I may torgue one bolt too tight and accidently broke it.... :?
Anyone know how to get the broken bolt out.

This is what I did when I snapped the middle fuel-rail bolt when installing injectors (see 4th post down): http://www.mazda-speed.com/forum2/index.php/topic,20119.45.html

If its snapped at the head just take the cover off again and twist it out with pliers. If its snapped at the head you need to buy whats called an 'easy out'. Go to toolies, or bunnings and ask them for one.

Thanks for help.
I get ideas how to deal this problem.
Decide to leave it in there unless the engine still leaking oil in to the plug well.
thanks again

Yes, I did this many years ago and nearly died. The "Easy Out" works a treat and are not that expensive. One tip though, try and make sure the hole you tap the Easy out into follows the angle of the bolt as closely as possible. Once that's done just work slowly and carefully.

The tool that Lokiel used is better than an easy out, as half the time when you start to drill the hole in the broken screw, because the drill has to be used in reverse it normally removes the broken screw at that time.
