Help please
I have a Cooling-Pro radiator that is 18 months old and has decided that it needs to leak.
Does anyone know of a good place (in Perth) that I could get it repaired. It is leaking where the core tubes join the top tank in 2 places.
Cheers

Depends where you are in the Perth hills, my mates run a toyota tuning shop called "WTF Autos" in Armadale and take great pride in their fabrication. I had them fix the leaks in my cooling pro on the people mover, if they can fit it in they'll ask that you take them the empty radiator all clean and dry so it's easy to weld.

Thanks Okibi
I am in the other end of the hills. I will try a couple of radiator mobs that I travel near in my normal day. If I have no luck I will definitely give them a call and drop your name.

I would wager that WTF auto are cheaper. In fact I think that any fabrication or welding place that can TIG aluminium will be cheaper than a radiator shop. If you can just take them a clean and dry radiator and point out exactly where the leaks are it is going to be a half hour, cash job to do it.

Does WTF Auto stand for what I think it does?

Also, lol at the banner across the top of their page.

Thanks for the input.
I took it to a "large radiator" repair shop in Bayswater.
Where I was told "that's knackered mate, I can do you a replacement ally radiator for $791.00 inc GST."
I kindly declined this offer.
Took it to Natrad in Midvale, where it was cleaned, repaired (with some magic resin) and pressure tested, for a grand total of.....$66.00.
So far so good! :D
