Hi all

I have a rattle comming from where the stock header is hitting the bracket on the gearbox that it is suppose to bolt to. i think i lost the bolt when swapping exhausts out. does anyone know the specs of the bolt? its part number 99796-0875 but i cant find any info on it. can i just remove the bracket on the gearbox and call it a day or are the bolts a specific length to accomidate for the bracket

why not just order the bolt from Mazda. The bolts will of course be a specific length but the engineers try and use standard sizes - the local exh guys will be able to supply.

from memory its just an exhaust bolt
basically all its purpose is to clamp the exhaust headders in place to stop them from moving
the bolt tightens around the exhaust and the bracket bolts on to the gearbox

if memory serves is about 2" long - but this doesnt matter how long it is, as its non structural bolt
just get something long enough to reach the bracket & tighten to stop the headders from moving

should be the same thread as an exhaust bolt
