Hey guys
Done a search on the forum and have noticed in the past some of you's have got the Thompson Oil Filter Relocation kit. The topics are that old the pictures don't even load.

I am just after a long term review on how they are, as I am serisouly considering ordering one now that our dollar is good.
Also were there any issues with installng them on our right hand drive cars?
Does any one have one on a SE?
Has any one attached an oil cooler to the kit as well?
Luke

Luke - you make your own call but I do not know why people bother- it really is not very hard to remove from the standard position.

Re: Thompson Oil Filter Relocation Kit
any tips Morlock?
it's simple to see it and touch it, but to actually undo it is much more difficult as there isn't any room to get leverage.
do you get to it from the top of the engine, or from down in the wheel well?

Re: Thompson Oil Filter Relocation Kit
I have a relocation kit on my SP that works brilliantly. And for Mr Morelock's info it takes me 10 minutes to do an oil change now without removing skin, wheel or jacking the car up. I relocated the Washer bottle on the SP and mounted the filter there. Mine came from US Ebay seller Wholesale Overstocks and was only around $100 delivered. The company i bought mine from doesn't list any at present, but this is the same kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UNIVERSA ... 27b9d0b09c

Re: Thompson Oil Filter Relocation Kit
Yes, its really easy to change the oil in the standard location, if have a workshop with a hoist in it which i don't have hence wanting to move the thing. Can't actually see the oil filter on an SE because of all the extra tubes and pipes running everywhere, which is what makes it difficult.
Thanks bigdog, seems like a great cheaper alternative, if I can't get any feedback on the Thompson kit.
