Another what oils thread heh. If it's being used hard on track then using a higher viscosity oil will minimize shearing. Something like Penrite HPR15 15w60 would be good to go. Or even Penrite HPR10 10w50. Could also get a good oil cooler then any of your preferred oils would be fine.
I use Gulf Western (The Tough Australian) Premium Gold 15w40 (GW recommends this one anyway for BP turbos). I can't fault it in anyway although I don't do any trackwork. Personal experience with my GTR I'd say GW 15w40 is better then Castrol's GTX3 15w40 & much better then Motuls Turbolight 10w40. I schedule the changes for 6500Ks, or 5000Ks if I've been using the big turbo a bit.
I don't care what other people use really, but I would love to see more people use Aussie made. After all, if you happened to be working for an Aussie manufacturing business, you'd want people to buy the products to keep you employed?
