Only differences I remember was the starter motor is held on by two bolts instead of three.

MX5's don't have a clutch cable, they use a hydraulic clutch system. If you get a braided s/steel line made up to go from master cylinder to slave cylinder then you won't have any problems. MX5Plus sell braided s/steel lines to suit, "off the shelf".

Is this what your talking about, this line goes from the master cylinder to the slave.

The goodridge ones replace the flex factory line only, a complete waste of time unless your old one is leaking or car has ultra ks on it.

The main reason for fitting a complete replacement line is that it does away with the steel line that goes across to the pass side to a flex line and back to the slave cyl and the useless brackets that hold it to the back of the engine.

Cost is around $65 for the one I had done.
