The gearbox bolts to the PPF so it doesn't have conventional mounts like you'd find in most other RWD's that I've seen. The only replaceable mounts are on the diff and engine.

Those can both be replaced with harder mounts which are good for track/drag but generally not required for street driving.

Mazdaspeed mounts work well both front and back. Slightly stiffer than OEM, but same type of construction. They're are a better and cheaper choice than OEM for when your old mounts are stuffed. http://www.good-win-racing.com MX5Mania routinely fit them as stock replacements too.

Nolathane (eg Energy Suspension) diff mounts are for racing use only and make the car impossibly harsh and noisy for road use for no real benefit.

I've had the mazdaspeed mounts fo about 2 years now. Stiffer than OEM. Crisper shifting feel. Slighly more 'buzzy' idle though.
