Folks,
I don't have an MX5. I'm building a clubman using an MX5 box.
The speedo sensor on the gearbox I have looks like this:

I can get a signal from two tiny metal-lined holes at the end, so it works.
However, I'm wondering about any connector to this.
Does this look normal?
Does the connector just plug into the two tiny holes on the side at the end?
(Or has something been broken off?)
I'd like to get some idea of what I'm after before I approach a wrecker - whether I should replace the whole sensor, or just seek a connector.
Thanks - Gavin.

he's attached a couple of jpgs, one of which shows a diagram with what looks to be the other end.

Thanks 93_clubman.
Looks like something has been broken off, then.
