Some help required please. Are the SE (Turbo) timing belt or water pump any different from a non-turbo? It looks as if there are differences looking at various parts suppliers.
Asking because my car is now in the UK; so will have to import from OZ or the USA if there are any differences.

I know of one well known MX5 specialist repairer who only uses Mazda components for this particular job- surely Mazda will sell the correct components and quality should be OE standard.

There are no other SE's in Europe so Mazda UK is of no help at all unless either or both of these items are the same as an N/A model. The SE is non VVT of course but also FM reckon the Mazdaspeeds have a different connection at the water pump.
I have only ever used Mazda parts & will continue to do so.

Boris- to be sure then perhaps call one of the Mazda parts places in AU and quote the VIN or fax them etc.
