I was wondering if anyone has any experience tuning link G1's or knows where i can buy a serial link adapter?

That's an older (I think) unit I just fitted a G4 to mine, if you are in Melbourne, AVO installed mine and have probably done work with a G1. They might have information on getting a cable or how you can build one. You can get all the parts you will need from jaycar or similar.
