Driveshaft fitment issues with my 6 speed

Postby rxmx » Sun Mar 28, 2010 2:37 pm

I purchased a 99 jap torsen + driveshaft for my NA and im trying to mate it up to my 6 speed. Im having issues getting the driveshaft into the box, the shaft looks bigger than the gbox end. Anyone have any ideas? I thought all the driveshafts were compatible?

Thanks in advance,

Sorry I can't help you specifically but my 96 NA8A tailshaft fitted fine with my 6 speed, so I would have had the same opinion as you.

Thanks for the replies.

Peter did it go in easily or does it require some force?, I will attemp it again jus don't wanna damage my gbox seals...

Im not sure about auto/manual tailshafts, iv'e been trying to search it on the net, i know they are different lengths but unsure of the yoke.
