Loch Stewart CAI questions

Hi All,

I have just bought a new style Loch Stewart cold air intake. I have a couple of questions if I may.

Am I right in thinking I need a 76mm (3 inch) hole saw to make the hole in the upper firewall for the CAI?

Assuming the above answer is yes does any one have a good quality 76mm hole saw and arbor/pilot drill that they are willing to lend or sell to me? I used to have one, but loaned it out a number of years ago....and I can't remember who to.

Ok, I have been able to answer my own question. I need a 76mm (3 inch) metal hole saw.

Anyone have one they no longer need??

Hi A cheapy should do it,the metal is soft and thin,easy

or just get a texta, draw an outline of the hole , then drill a bunch of holes around the edge with your drill, get some tin snips or a dremel or a grinder and join all the holes and neaten it all up with a file. it would take a while, but. but it'd be free.

Thanks for the responses. I found a hole saw kit with 2 arbors and a number of holesaws for $19.90. Should come in handy for some other projects...will see how it goes in the next couple of weeks.
