Considering it started once after the change in coil packs i would say yes the cams are turning.......

I take it you are not getting spark & that has been checked?
if not check it & even recheck it

I would also check to see that you are getting fuel,

check silly things like alarm (if you have one) simple check for this is disconnect the main alarm module, this will disable the alarm & if that is the problem the car will start

after you have checked these, report back, & we can get into some more details....

good luck

again, the car (if i read correctly) has been started once after the breakdown, a fuse would not have allowed that to happen

So your 94 NA8 has got fuel, but no spark, & the cams turn when cranked indicating the cam belt is intact?

Could be ECU unless of course it's tested ok since your 2nd last post. Conti had problems with an ECU capacitor leaking over a couple of other components. While he was able to get a new capacitor, the value of the components couldn't be indentified & couldn't be replaced, so he had to get another ECU:

dracomjb had a similar problem which turned out to be something other than ECU:

Is this in the Tecnhical Guides section? If not, I vote it should. 8)
