Got my Auscruise cruise control fitted today. Really happy with it.
Now need to take a drive to Brissy or somewhere similar to run it in.

...Don't forget that if it gets stuck when you're driving along it's best to call 000. It might take them 30 minutes to work out a solution for you, but you could always pay for any damage caused by selling your story to Women's Weekly (...which actually comes out every month, oddly enough).

Yep. I could always turn the ignition key off too.

I need to buy a new cable for mine - Is yours attached to the throttle linkage with a looped cable Nick? Can you send me details of where you bought it so I can ask them if they can supply a cable replacement?
Cheers,
John.

Sure Big dog. I bought it from Len Day car radio and electrics @ 249 Moorabool ST Geelong Ph # 03 52214325.
It is the Auscruise cruise control with the control on the steering wheel. It has the loopy wire you describe going to the throttle wire control and the whole thing fitted cost about $668.00.
My thinking would be to have a look on the net at the Auscruise web page. I know they have one as that is how I chose to go with them . They put me in touch with Len Day who is their area agent.
Hope this helps some .
Regards Nick.
