I have a standard 10AE. I'm looking to upgrade the exhaust to acheive a little more power and hopefully a bit better sound.

I know this has probably been covered before and there is alot of different options.

Just want to know what people think is the best way to go.

Which headers?
What size exhaust etc?

The car is only used on weekends and the odd trackwork so no real limitations.

Best bang for buck would be a cat back exhaust system.

Next step up would be the SMB extended secondary pipes and high flow cat.


Or the wide range of different extractors on offer.

Maximworks Headers + custom 2.5 inch midpipe with cat + Jet's integral Kobe muffler.

The N-power extractors seem to be the cheapest around are there any good or bad reports about them?

Plenty on here, but from my experience a steel cat and high flow system are the go, extractors provide only minimal benefit on NB"s.

LOL as expected of you. But why not a SARD cat? for full JDM goodness.

Yeah funnily enough I was about to edit my post, Sard cat + midpipe, but not enough $$$ hah.
