Anyone handy with a multimeter and an NA6?

I have that workshop manual too. I tested mine the other day but my multimeter wasn't ideal. The lowest resistance range on it is 200 ohms which is a bit dodgy for measuring anything less than 1 ohm. What range were you using?
As for the pinging, have you checked your timing? Stock is 10 degrees, anything more than 14 degrees and you should probably be using 95 or 98 RON fuel.
