If it's time for a belt change, then it's time for a pump change.
The pump will leak sooner or later, and because you need to undo the belts to remove and install it, why not take a pre-emptive (did I spell that right?) step and fix it now before it becomes a problem.

My pump lasted 200 k km and was still good and working without leaks, but I decided to change it, takes about an extra hour or so ontop of your T belt change.

The seals they recomend the drill and screw method (look how deep the new seal is (you dont have to drill very far)

Yes, do it and get a genuine unit as well. You don't want to be going back in there in 6 months time.
