Timing belt - completed

Hey brains trust .... I've jsut spent the day frantically swapping timing belts (HUGE storm apparently coming...)
I've got it all together and taken it for a little spin ...
something isnt right ....
It starts and idles perfectly
no power just off idle
surge of power around 4000 but then nothing ...
I'm guessing inlet is off by a tooth, but I'd like to confirm with you guys
Timing was done via the timing marks and all aligned as far as i could tell, the stampings on the end of the cam drives didnt look to be quite right, as in they were not in the middle of a tooth, but one was almost on the edge, the other was just off centre ... I aligned them with the marks, not to teeth, was that right ?
There was 19 teeth between the alignment marks, but i guess that doesnt count for much if one of them is out by one tooth !
your thoughts ?
