Na6a Fuel pump specs ?

Postby kazjim » Wed Jul 08, 2009 9:59 pm

G'day all, I suspect that my fuel pump is on the way out, and as i have a spare in-tank pump here, i was wondering about the specs of the Standard one ?
The one I have is off a 'slightly larger' engine, but looks very, very similar .....

I suspect that they will be radically different spec-wise, but am interested because it might help the troubleshooting process ...

Ideas ?

Hi there,
According to the workshop manual, the output pressure for the OEM in-tank fuel pump is 64-85 psi.
Hope this helps.
Les
P.S.
I used this link once when someone asked about fuel pumps and pressure -> clicky.

Thanks for that, I think I'll pop the pump out on the weekend and trial fit the other pump ...

If it fits and runs fine then I'll post my findings and let people know an alternate source of fuel pumps !

Cheers
