Mr Dodgie Crank fix.

Well a while ago I got the short nose crank failure and I didn't have the money to fix straight away (not to mention I snapped the crank bolt too!!!!! :frown: ) so I done a quick fix I jammed a screwdriver in there to push the sprocket "true" and drilled and tapped the old bolt.
Anyways I thought it might be cool to show you lot. You can cringe and lol all you want. It worked! and that's the sad thing. :D

:shock: I can't believe this would work but good luck with it - a full repair is a major exercise. Maybe you could move on to ultimate dodginess and weld it on as well.

It worked and ran fine, never drove it hard. It served it's purpose untill I got a new long nose engine.

But to tell you the truth I can't believe it worked either. :wink:
