What sort of gains would you be looking at powwer/torque wise?

And what sort of cost to change heads on an NA8? would it be worth it over, say....changing cams in standard head?

Cheers,
Chris

Will fit without a problem
Power wise ? with the Link ECU should make 140 RW KW with out a drama

This is what my NA8 Made unintercooled
with an AVO manifold and Autronic SMC

Intake temps were over 100 Deg C at the track

i think the combustion chamber volume goes up by almost a third with nb8a on head. i am sure one of the members who have build a head could verify. you should be able to flow more with the newer head whether that results in power on a forced induction application on a streetable scale I am not sure. You can get away with quite a bit more 'inefficiency' in forced induction applications than you can in na applications. it would probably come down to the variables between combustion chamber pressure and volume that would yield the most favorable conditions for power. this gets into the area of danny territory i think.

So for a non turbo, na8 with basic mods - is it worth doing the head change or staying with standard head on na8 and just upgrading cams?
